295 US dollars
Prado Olympic Range: 17501 Pomona Rd, Chino, CA 91708

Service Description

The 4-hour training is focused on firearm safety, range etiquette, rifle operation & nomenclature, rifle handling, marksmanship fundamentals, live fire shooting exercises and the rifle zeroing process. It is important that students understand common rifle shooting terminologies such as Zero, MZ, NPA, POA, POI, MOA, etc. Learning the safe and proficient use of a rifle, students conduct hands-on training under instructor range commands, which includes load & make ready, unload & show clear, etc. It is vital that students learn rifle shooting fundamentals such as grip, stance, aiming control, trigger control, breath control, follow through, etc. During live fire shooting exercises, the students not only practice marksmanship but also learn target analysis. This involves identifying shooting errors, understanding the root cause, and providing solutions. After live fire practice, students learn an important rifle shooting skill known as ZERO that is a live fire shooting process of adjusting the rifle’s sights for accuracy. By the end of the training, the students can safely, responsibly, and properly use their rifles with the newly acquired skills. Certificate of completion will be issued to each student that completes the training. Note 1: The key to retain a skill is to practice it with repetition and ASAP after the training. Otherwise, the skill may be perishable. As a result, the training fee includes FREE (RTP) Refresher Training Plan within one year from the date the student completes the initial training. The best way for skill retention or skill refinement is to take advantage of the Refresher Training Plan (RTP). See details in MORE on the menu bar for RTP. Note 2: The class can be done in a 4-hour period with efficiency and quality; however, the fast-paced environment may become a challenge for some novices. Therefore, it is HIGHLY recommended that the training is completed in two separate sections for the best interest of the students. The first part is about 2 hours to be done via Zoom virtual classroom with live video lesson provided by the trainer. The second part is about 4 hours to be held at the shooting range. Either way, the students are expected to learn the similar information before the live-fire shooting. Note 3: The fee does not include firearm, ammo, and range fee. Please let us know if you need assistance.
