Handgun-2 (Intermediate)

Service Description

Students with previously acquired knowledge of handgun safety, handling skills, and shooting fundamentals can enhance their ability with proficiency and confidence. Students are required to meet a certain level of firearm safety knowledge and skills to attend this training. The 4-hour training is focused on teaching fast shooting with a special technique known as "Flash Sight" , multiple ready shooting positions, draw & shoot from holster and re-holster, multiple techniques for fast ammo reload while shooting(“Emergency/Speed Reload” and “Tactical Reload”), and one-handed only shooting (strong and supported hand respectively). Students will learn the different types of stoppages/malfunctions, what and why causes them, and solutions for each, including critical clearance techniques such as “Immediate Action.” The training covers common handgun malfunctions such as “Failure to Go-Into-Battery,” “Failure to Fire,” “Failure to Feed,” “Failure to Eject/Stove Pipe,” “Double Feed,” etc.) The training not only focuses on teaching handgun use skills but also cultivating students to develop a proper defense mindset. This course prepares the students for further serious defensive shooting activities including home defense, personal protection/CCW (Concealed Carry Weapon), defense/tactical training, shooting competitions, security professions, and even law enforcement training. Certificate of completion will be issued to each student that completes the training. Note 1: The key to retain a skill is to practice it with repetition and ASAP after the training. Otherwise, the skill may be perishable. As a result, the training fee includes FREE (RTP) Refresher Training Plan within one year from the date the student completes the initial training.
