Service Description

The training is focused on firearm safety, range etiquette, handgun operation & nomenclature, handgun handling, marksmanship fundamentals, and live fire shooting exercises. For the handgun use proficiency and safety, the students conduct hands-on handling training under range commands, which includes load & make ready, unload & show clear, etc. It is vital that students learn handgun shooting fundamentals such as grip, stance, hold control, aiming control, breath control, trigger control, and follow through, etc. During live fire shooting exercises with different distances from 5-25 yards, the students not only practice the marksmanship but also learn target analysis. Able to identify shooting errors, understand the root cause, and provide solutions, the students can master the shooting fundamentals quickly. For the sake of training effectiveness, the students take comprehensive assessments for handgun safety, handling, and live fire shooting. By the end of the training, the students can safely, responsibly, and properly use their handguns with acquired skills. Completion of certificate will be issued to those students who complete the training. Note 1: The key to retain a skill is to practice it with repetition and ASAP after the initial training. Otherwise, the skill may be perishable. As a result, the training fee includes FREE (RTP) Refresher Training Plan within one year from the date the student completes the initial training. The best way for skill retention or skill refinement is to take advantage of the Refresher Training Plan (RTP). See details in MORE on the menu bar for RTP. Note 2: 1) A high quality class can be completed in 4 hours; however, the fast-paced learning environment may be a challenge for some novices, particularly for those students with an inactive lifestyle. Therefore, it is HIGHLY recommended that a 6-hour training is completed in two separate sessions in the best interest of the students. The first session is about 2 hours via Zoom virtual classroom with live video lesson provided by the trainer. The second session is about 4 hours and to be held at the shooting range for firearm handling and live fire training. Either way, the students are expected to learn and retain the firearm information presented and practice the hands-on firearm skills. Note 3: The fee does not include firearm, ammo, and range fee.
